
Park Rules
We would like to welcome all our guests to Mansfield Lakeside Holiday Park and hope that your time here is memorable. We are a family friendly park. To ensure that every guest enjoys their stay in the park, we have a few rules that all guests are to adhere to. A full list of our park rules is on our website, however listed below are a few important ones. Please ensure that you read the rules and are familiar with them. We hope you enjoy your stay and see you back soon!

Reception: The office will be open from 10am until 4pm for anything you may need. Our after-hours number is 0458 711 488; this is strictly for emergencies only. Or please call 000.

DO NOT knock on our windows or enter our private property.

Speed Limit: The caravan park speed limit is strictly 5 km/h only, at ALL times. This means walking pace.

Visitors: All visitors entering the caravan park must report to office reception and pay appropriate fees before proceeding. Visitors must have a permit for parking in the visitor carpark. No visitors’ cars are permitted within the park.

Amenities: Cleaning occurs between 11.00am and 12.00pm daily.

Shop: Open during office hours on long weekends and school holidays.

Laundries: Located at the main amenity block. Washing machines ($8) and dryers ($4) are coin-operated.

Recreation Room: Open from 9.30am to 5.00pm. Children must be supervised. Please ensure all equipment and furniture is left in a neat and tidy manner after use.

Dump Point: Chemical toilets must only be emptied into the dump point located on your park map. Please ensure the dump point is washed down and kept in a clean manner for the next person.

Swimming Pool: Open from 9am till 8pm during summer months.

No running, jumping, diving, or unsafe behaviors.

Children under 16 years old must be supervised by an adult.

No glass, smoking, pets, bikes, etc. in the pool area.

Accommodation: A key box is located to return your keys anytime outside office hours.

Caravan Park Etiquette:
-
Please do not walk through people’s campsites to ensure privacy and the enjoyment of all.

Please stick to the roads when driving around the park. Do not drive through other campsites or over communal grassed areas.

A limit of one car-sized vehicle with any booking of a powered or cabin site is permitted within the park, unless prior arrangements are made with office reception.

Boats are NOT permitted to be parked on the camping ground, near cabins, or on our grassed lawns. We have boat storage areas located around the park.

Check-out time is 10.00am for cabins and 11.00am for powered campsites, unless prior arrangements have been made with reception.

No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted in park cabins, in or around amenities blocks, camp kitchens, or communal areas.

Campsites:

Tow bars must face the road for emergency purposes. Awnings are not to face each other.

No trenches or other earthworks are to be dug, and trees or bushes must not be cut.

All rubbish must be placed in bins provided.

Power for a site must only be obtained from a single power point.

Mansfield Lakeside takes no responsibility for items left behind by persons on sites or in cabins.

If cabins or campsites are not left in a clean condition, an extra cleaning charge will apply and be charged to your credit card.

Noise must be kept to an acceptable level. Strictly NO noise after 10.00pm. Drunkenness and offensive language will not be tolerated.

Fire Rules:

Regulations must be observed on Total Fire Ban days or during the Shire Fire Ban Season.

BYO fire bins are permitted during snow season only and must be authorized by Park Management first. Fire bins must have at least 30cm clearance from the ground.

Please ensure fires are fully extinguished when unattended.

Fire ash must not be dumped on park grounds. Ash bins are located around the park.

Bikes & Scooters:
-
EV bikes and scooters are NOT permitted in our park.

Bicycles and scooters must be ridden at a walking pace, in a sensible manner, and only on roadways.

Helmets and protective gear must be worn at all times when riding.

No riding in, on, or around the amenities blocks, recreation room, or camp kitchen.

Bicycles and scooters must not be left on public walkways or in any way that causes a nuisance or danger.

Pet Rules:

If you have a pet, you must inform reception upon arrival, as only authorized pets are allowed entry into the park.

A ‘pet policy’ form must be signed.
