Park Rules

We would like to welcome all our guests to Lakeside Mansfield and hope that your time here is memorable. We are a family friendly park. To ensure that every guest enjoys their stay in the park, we have a few rules that all guests are to adhere to. A full list of our park rules is on our website, however listed below are a few important ones. Please ensure that you read the rules and are familiar with them. We hope you enjoy your stay and see you back soon!

  • Reception: The office will be open from 10am until 4pm for anything you may need. Our after-hours number is (03) 57752735; this is strictly for emergencies only. Emergencies may include power outages, loud noises from other campsites etc. DO NOT knock on our windows or enter our private property.
     

  • Speed Limit: The caravan park speed limit is strictly 5 km/h only, at ALL times. This means walking pace.
     

  • Visitors: All visitors entering [Lakeside Mansfield] must report to office reception and pay appropriate fees before proceeding. No visitors’ cars permitted within the park.
     

  • Amenities: please consider the next person to use the amenities by limiting the duration of your shower and ensuring the cubicles and basins are wiped over after use.
     

  • Shop: open during office hours for bags of ice, Lollie's, ice-cream's, cold drinks, snacks and essentials. We will stay open on scorching hot nights for that after dinner ice cream.
     

  • Laundries: are located at the main amenity block. Washing machines ($8) and dryers ($4) are coin operated. Please ensure all clothes are removed after the cycle is complete and machines and tubs are wiped out.
     

  • Recreation Room: Open from dawn till dusk. Equipment can be borrowed from the office. Please ensure all equipment is returned to the office after use and furniture is left in a neat and tidy manner.
     

  • Dump point: Chemical toilets must only be emptied into the dump point located on your park map. Please ensure the dump point is washed down and kept in a clean manner for the next person.
     

  • Swimming Pool: open from 9am till 8pm. No running, jumping, diving or unsafe behaviors. Children under 12 years old must be supervised by an adult. No glass, smoking, pets, bikes etc in the pool area.
     

  • Do not park around the pool fenced area.
     

  • Please respect others in the water and ensure the pool area is kept in a clean and tidy manner.
     

  • Accommodation: A key box is located to return your keys anytime outside office hours.
     

  • Please refrain from walking through people's camp sites to ensure privacy and the enjoyment of all.
     

  • A limit of one car-sized vehicle with any booking of a powered or cabin site is permitted within the park, unless by prior arrangements made with office reception. Boats are NOT permitted to be parked on the camping ground, near cabins or on our grassed lawns. We have boat storage areas located around the park.
     

  • Check out time is 10.00 am for cabins and 11am for powered campsites. Unless prior arrangements have been made with reception.
     

  • No smoking permitted in park cabins, in or around amenities blocks, Camp Kitchens or communal areas.
     

  • No trenches or other earthworks are to be dug, built or cut off trees or bushes.
     

  • All rubbish is to be placed in bins provided.
     

  • Power for a site must only be obtained from a single power point
     

  • Lakeside Mansfield takes no responsibility for items left behind by person/s on sites or in cabins.
     

  • If cabins are not left in a clean condition or smoking is evident an extra cleaning charge will be applied and charged to your credit card.
     

  • Noise must be kept to an acceptable level. Strictly NO noise after 10.00pm. Drunkenness and offensive language will not be tolerated.
     

  • Fire Rules: Regulations must be observed on days of Total Fire ban or during Shire Fire Ban Season.
     

  • (WINTER ONLY) No fires are to be lit without permission from the park management.
     

  • Fire bins must have at least 30cm clearance from the ground. Please ensure fires are extinguished when unattended.
     

  • Fire ash is not to be dumped on the grounds in the park. If you are unsure where to put your fire ash, please ask one of our staff members.
     

  • Safety: Children must be properly supervised; it is the parents' responsibility to ensure children abide by the park rules.
     

  • Children under six years old must be accompanied by an adult when using the amenities block.
     

  • Bicycles/ Scooters must be ridden at a walking pace, in a sensible manner and only on roadways. All children must wear protective head gear when riding.
     

  • Under no circumstances are bikes/scooters to be ridden in, on and around the Amenities blocks, Recreation Room or Camp Kitchen.
     

  • Bicycles/Scooters are not to be left on public walkways or in any manner to cause a nuisance or danger.
     

  • Pet Rules: (OFF PEAK ONLY) If you have a pet, you must let reception know on arrival as only authorized pets are allowed entry into the park.
     

  • All pets must be always on a lead within the park, are not to be left unattended including on the decking of the amenities block even if they are tied up.
     

  • Barking dogs are irritating to other guests trying to enjoy the tranquility. Please ensure barking is minimal.
