Park Rules

Welcome to Mansfield Lakeside Holiday Park! We are a family friendly park, and we want every guest to relax, unwind and make memories here. These few simple guidelines help keep the park safe, peaceful and enjoyable for everyone. Have a read before you arrive, and if you have any questions at all, just say hello in the chat or give us a call. We can't wait to see you!

  • Reception: Our friendly team is in the office from 10am to 4pm, with check-ins between 12pm and 4pm (please arrive from 12pm). After hours, you can reach us on 0458 711 488 for emergencies, or call 000. Our home is on site, so please keep to the paths and give us a knock-free evening.
  • Speed limit: Please drive at walking pace, 5 km/h, at all times. It keeps little ones, pets and wildlife safe.
  • Visitors: Friends and family are always welcome. Please pop into reception first to say hello and sort the visitor fee. Visitors can use the visitor car park, and we ask that visitor cars stay out of the park itself.
  • Amenities: We freshen up the amenities between 11am and 12pm each day.
  • Shop: The shop is open during office hours on long weekends and school holidays.
  • Laundry: You will find it at the main amenities block. Washing machines are $8 and dryers are $4, both coin operated.
  • Recreation room: Open from 9.30am to 5pm for games and downtime. Please supervise children, and leave the room tidy for the next family.
  • Dump point: Please empty chemical toilets at the dump point shown on your park map, and give it a quick rinse for the next guest.
  • Swimming pool: Open from 9am to 8pm in summer. For everyone's safety, please walk around the pool, keep to safe play, and supervise children under 16. Glass, smoking, pets and bikes stay outside the pool area.
  • Cabin keys: Pop your keys in the key box any time outside office hours.
  • Being good neighbours:
    • Please walk around other people's campsites to give everyone their privacy.
    • Please keep to the roads and off the communal grass.
    • Each powered site or cabin booking includes one car sized vehicle. If you are bringing more, just let reception know and we will do our best to help.
    • Boats and jet skis go in our boat storage areas around the park, not at campsites, cabins or on the lawns.
    • Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 10am. If you would like different times, ask us at reception and we will try to help. Campsite check-in closes at 6.30pm.
  • Smoke free spaces: Smoking is not permitted in cabins, in or around the amenities blocks and camp kitchens, or in communal areas.
  • Campsites:
    • Please face your tow bar to the road so we can get out quickly in an emergency, and keep awnings from facing each other.
    • Please keep the ground and trees as you found them, with no trenches dug and no branches cut.
    • Pop all rubbish in the bins provided.
    • Each site uses a single power point.
    • We cannot take responsibility for belongings left behind on sites or in cabins, so please check before you leave.
    • Please leave your cabin or site clean. If it needs extra cleaning, a cleaning fee will be charged to your card.
    • Quiet time starts at 10pm, so everyone gets a good night's sleep. We ask all guests to be considerate and respectful.
  • Fire safety:
    • Please follow all rules on Total Fire Ban days and during the Shire Fire Ban Season.
    • Bring your own fire bin during snow season with approval from park management. Fire bins need at least 30cm of clearance from the ground.
    • Please make sure fires are fully out whenever you leave them.
    • Pop ash in the ash bins around the park rather than on the ground.
  • Bikes and scooters:
    • Bicycles and scooters are welcome. Electric bikes and scooters are not allowed in our park.
    • Please ride at walking pace, on the roads, and wear a helmet and protective gear.
    • Please keep bikes and scooters out of the amenities blocks, recreation room and camp kitchen, and park them where they will not block paths.
  • Pets: We love welcoming four legged guests to our campsites. Let reception know when you arrive, and you will sign a quick pet policy form. Our dog policy explains everything.

A friendly note: we want everyone to have a great stay. If a guest is not able to follow these guidelines, we may need to ask them to leave without a refund. In most cases, a quick chat with our team sorts things out.
